Hello Cool

When I save a .txt Encore file from Jubler it looks like this: 1 00;00;00;00 00;00;05;00 Text Text Text
But when I export a .txt file from Encore it looks like this: 1 00:00:00:00 00:00:05:00 Text Text Text

Jubler exports with ; and encore exports with :

The result is that i can't open files exported from Encore in Jubler, it just looks like this:

One of the problems was that Encore doesn't export in UTF8, so I after I converted it, it looked at least somewhat better.

But there is still the problem with ; and :

So is there a way to fix this? Because currently it looks like this:

It puts the timeline in front of the text becasue it confuses between : and ;

Hav others experienced the same problem before Huh

It looks like this type of subtitle format is not supported... that's why it is displayed like this

Yes but why did Jubler create it in the way that Encore can open .txt files from Jubler, but Jubler can't open .txt files from Encore?

If Jubler had just recognized the : that Encore creates instead of ; there wouldn't be any problem.

Is this something that is going too be fixed in the later version of Jubler Smiley?

The only way I now about to solve this is to copy paste the sub into MS Word and replace all the : with ; but when I do that it also changes all the : used as regular text Cry

So does anyone know of a better solution?

Well, right now there is no easy solution by using jubler, apart from using a feature rich text editor (like one who understands regular expressions or similar technologies)
